Here at CPSM we value our coaches. We thank you for giving up your time.

We hope that you enjoy the experience and get a much out of coaching as the players get from your coaching.

There are a few steps that need to take place before you are ready to coach a team.

1. Current WWC Check from Services NSW (If you are over 18 years of age)

This can be either volunteer (free of charge) or Employment status.

If you do not have WWC you will need to apply via the Services NSW website:

At the end of the application you will receive an APP #. You will then need to visit a Services NSW office to verify your identity.

You will then be emailed your WWC details. Please pass these onto us ASAP

Until we receive the WWC number you cannot coach - an APP number is not sufficient to coach.

2. Current Player or Coaching registration (either at Penrith District Basketball or another association)

If you need to take out coaching registration please do so via this registration link:

Choose "Coach" instead of player.

Input your WWC details when prompted

Coaches registration is $25. (Depending upon the circumstances the club may reimburse you this amount)

3. Complete a Community Coaching Course

(run by Penrith District Basketball Association at least once a season)

If you already have completed a Community Coaching Course please let us know, otherwise we will sign you up for the next available course.

This course costs $20 (Depending upon the circumstances the club may pay for this course)
